Our mission
The Assyrian Medical Professionals Society (AMPS) connects Assyrian healthcare professionals across the global diaspora to advance mentorship, professional excellence, cultural heritage, and humanitarian service. AMPS fosters collaboration within the medical community, strengthens Assyrian institutions, and supports health initiatives in the homeland and throughout the diaspora.
What we do
- Build a strong professional network among Assyrian healthcare providers.
- Promote continuing education, mentorship, and leadership development.
- Support medical missions and humanitarian outreach in Assyrian and global communities.
- Encourage collaboration and research within the healthcare community.
- Uphold ethical and compassionate standards of medical practice.
- Advocate, as appropriate, for the Assyrian healthcare community and underserved populations.
Membership
Membership is open to healthcare professionals of Assyrian heritage and to those who share an interest in advancing the Society's mission, including physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, therapists, allied health professionals, medical students and pre-health students.
